Accommodation
Hotel rooms at special Conference rates are being held for conference
participants and their families in various hotels of different
categories in Hamburg and close vicinity of venue. (There will be no
shuttle services provided by the conference between the official hotels
and the Hamburg Congress Centre).

Guided Tours
Wide variety of Guided
Tours has been tailor-made for registered participants and accompanying
persons. These visits will be an excellent opportunity to discover some
of the most outstanding artistic and historical highlights of Hamburg.
Classical Sightseeing Tour of Hamburg (Monday, 7th September 2009, 13:00-16:00) is included in the accompanying persons’ fees.
The
tour programme, description and conditions are available on the
website. To sign up for tours, please tick the corresponding boxes on
the registration form or on the web and send your payment.
- All tours are in English however for groups of more then 15 pax we can provide translation to their language of origin. (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek)
- The organisers reserve the right to cancel tours with less than 10 participants

Accreditation of learning hours
EDTNA/ERCA will recognise and certify the number of session hours attended by delegates. The Association is committed to continuing professional development (CPD) and this process enables those participants who need to demonstrate that they are keeping up-to-date with current practice to gain recognition for their conference attendance. Details of the sessions which are eligible for CME accreditation points will be published on the Conference website in August.
1 credit will be assigned for each 60 min spent within session hall. You are however allowed to change between the sessions and the time is accumulated
A Certificate of attendance will be provided together with CME certificate on the last day of the Conference.

How to reach hamburg and the CCH
The CCH - Congress Center Hamburg are centrally located in downtown Hamburg near the "Dammtor" InterCity train station. You can reach them quickly and reliably using any means of transportation. For further information please go to conference website.

Official language
Official language is English, however plenary sessions and sessions held in the main hall (Hall 1 and Hall G2 on Tuesday) will be translated into French, German, Greek, Italian and Spanish as the Conference is organised by an International Scientific Association.

Official letters of invitation
In case you require an official letter of invitation to obtain your
visa to enter Germany, please contact the Conference Department. You
may however note that the Organisers do not undertake any obligation to
pay any expenses incurred by supplying these letters. Furthermore, for
some countries, a confirmation of registration with payment may be
asked by the authorities.

Posters
100 scientific posters will be displayed throughout the Conference. Each poster author will attend their poster to answer questions and share their work during one of the five designated poster viewing sessions as follows:

This confirmation should be presented upon arrival at the Pre-registration Counter if the account is settled or at the On-site registration if a balance is still due.

Scientific and technical exhibition
The exhibition, open to pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers of materials and equipment, associations and scientific publishers will be held on the same level as the Poster area. The exhibition opening hours will be those of the Conference.
The Welcome Cocktail following the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 19:30, will take place within the exhibition area.

Scholarships
There are three Manuscript scholarships to be awarded as follows:
- First Prize - Best Manuscript Scholarship (1000 Euro for the winner)
- Second Prize – Runner up Best Manuscript Scholarship (500 Euro 1st runner up)
- Third Prize – Runner up Best Manuscript Scholarship (Certificate of merit 2nd runner up)
The Manuscript scholarship will be presented during the EDTNA/ERCA Annual General Meeting on Monday 7th September at 16:00.
The poster scholarship will be presented during the Closing Session on Tuesday 8th September at 14:00.

Social events
Opening Ceremony, Welcome Cocktail and Exhibition Opening (included in the registration fee) Saturday, 5th September 2009, 19:30 in the Exhibition area.
Delegates, spouses and exhibitors are most welcome. This is the “not to be missed event” of the EDTNA/ERCA International Conference. After the Opening Ceremony in the main Hall of the conference centre, a welcome cocktail will be offered to all attendees and exhibitors.
