How to get to Hamburg City Center & CCH
From the Airport
From the airport participants should take the S1 to central station and change there to S 21 (direction Blankese) to Dammtor station (1 stop). Total time for traveling 30 minutes.
Subway
Route: Footpath to station: ca. 3 minutes. Get on line S11 and continue to the stop Hauptbahnhof. After that, change the line to S21 and exit at the station Dammtor (Messe/CCH). Congress Center Hamburg is located in close proximity to that station.
Traveling time: Traveling from the airport to the main entrance of CCH takes approx. 30 minutes.
Cost: Single tickets sell for EUR 2.60; and day tickets cost EUR 5.80 per person
Jasper Airport Express (In front of the terminals)
Regular daytime service that runs every 15 minutes
Route: Non-stop to the main station, then board the U1 or the S11 Stephansplatz/Dammtor
Cost: Normal ride EUR 5.00, return ticket EUR 8.00
Taxi
Travel time: approx. 20 minutes
Cost: There are no fixed cab fares in Hamburg. The cab fare from the airport to the Hamburg Messe amounts to approx. EUR 21.00
Arriving by train
It is only a five-minute walk from Intercity train station Hamburg-Dammtor to Hamburg Messe (East entrance) and this route also continues to "Planten un Blomen" park, one of the nicest parks in the city. To the Congress Center Hamburg the way is even shorter and takes only two minutes.
Arriving by car
The Hamburg Messe and the Congress Center can be reached by car via the following motorways and junctions (see the map "Vicinity"):
A7 from the North - Junction HH-Volkspark
A23 from North-West - Junction HH-Volkspark
A 24 / A 1 from the East / North East - Junction HH-Horn
A 250 / A 255 from the South-East - via Neue Elbbrücken / HH-Centrum
A 1 from the South-West - via A7 / Elbtunnel - Junction HH-Volkspark
A 7 from the South - via Neue Elbbrücken / HH-Centrum
From the mentioned junctions, follow the signs "Messe/CCH", which is the quickest way to Hamburg Messe and Congress Center Hamburg.

Spezialangebot der Deutschen Bahn – Exklusiv für Kongressteilnehmer
Für die Anreise per Bahn wurde das folgende Spezialangebot für die Teilnehmer der 38th EDTNA/ERCA International Confernence 2009 mit der Deutschen Bahn vereinbart:

vergünstigten Tarifen bzw. Rabatten (Bahncard, Wochenendticket, etc.)
kombinierbar ist. Sollten Sie eine Bahncard besitzen, prüfen Sie Ihre
Konditionen in jedem Fall, da sich ein günstigerer Preis ergeben kann.
Sonderpreis für Kongressteilnehmer
Für die Anreise innerhalb Deutschlands, unabhängig von Ihrem
Abfahrtsbahnhof, bietet die Bahn folgende Spezialtarife für Hin- und
Rückfahrt ohne Zugbindung im gesamten Bundesgebiet:
1. Klasse: € 159,- 2. Klasse: € 99,-
zzgl. Reservierungsgebühr
(Diese beträgt € 5 in der 1. Klasse, € 4 in der 2. Klasse je Richtung.)
Für den ICE-Sprinter und DB-Nachtzüge ist ein Aufpreis notwendig.
Alle Preise verstehen sich inkl. Umsatzsteuer.
Gültigkeit
Dieses Angebot gilt nur zusammen mit der Anmeldebestätigung zum
Kongress. Sollte der Reisende kurzfristig einen anderen Zug als den
reservierten Zug nutzen, ist eine erneute Reservierung notwendig. Bei
Umtausch/Erstattung bis zum 1. Geltungstag werden € 15,- fällig, ab dem
1. Geltungstag ist Umtausch/Erstattung ausgeschlossen.
Geltungsdauer / Geltungsbereich
Das Veranstaltungsticket ist gültig für Hin- und Rückfahrt zwischen dem 3. und 9. September 2009 von jedem beliebigen Abgangsbahnhof nach Hamburg und zurück.
Bestellung / Bezahlung
Die Bestellung der Tickets für Kongressteilnehmer ist ausschließlich
telefonisch über die Veranstaltungshotline der DB möglich: unter der
Hotline-Nummer 01805 – 31 11 53 mit dem Stichwort „INTERPLAN“. Die
Hotline ist besetzt von Montag bis Samstag von 08:00 Uhr bis 21:00 Uhr.
Der Anruf kostet 14 ct/Minute.
